Space Maintainer

Space maintainers are a great way for maintaining of space available for children who have prematurely lost primary back tooth/teeth ( Baby teeth). They are usually cemented on the remaining teeth in order to help maintain the space for the future eruption of the permanent tooth/teeth. The consequences of not placing one are movement of the other teeth with loss of the space for the permanent teeth and resulting with crowding of permanent teeth and mal-occlusion ( Bad Bite).
